Previous week I still saw the buttons.... but it was already for long time a 'pointer' to the NPO start website...
I liked the condensed view very much ...

And as i said the record icon is now static....Later i may add a possibility to make it blink
Also i may add the active tuners to that bar too.

I understand the 'blink' is the real issue here... Originally I preferred not to blink it at all... (in our standard scan we do not blink it as well)... But we had this discussion before and I agree it is taste... But still I think it should not blink.... years years years (>10 years) ago we had the same discussion within the PLI team and decided not to let it blink. In cosmetic terms this seems always being better. And E.g. in the channellist and EPG they also do not blink. So spare time and do not let it blink is even consistent...
Adding the active tuners make it bigger again... bit it can be a good additional test.

Well since as you said its a personal taste i will make it as configuration so anyone that wants to have blinking in his skin to can define it.
Regarding tuners.... well what items to have in the bar is configurable in the skin so you can easily not add them. More or less it is convenient for the second info bar.

When watching IPTV links inserted into a userbouquet file on the second infobar we only see Free-To-Air, can you please display the full http link too, live we have for DVB channels.

Generally is possible, but that line with "free-to-air" text is dedicated for the crypto infomation. The above line which is dedicated to show the info for resolution, codec and so on (missing in PLi for IPTV services) is more suitable.
Since that line is missing in PLi because there is large portion of code missing in ServiceInfo converter nothing is displayed.
On OE-A images currently that is shown

It would indeed be nice to add there the url from the stream.. We do that also on (but kind of cut off as URL strings could be long) on the second infobar in our standard skin... Free to Air is also a bit 'obvious' here... We even show that on a place in the channel selection screen.
Still we need here also the simple second infobar... where we do not show technical information... I suggest to show on that location more EPG information.. .like the next 2,3,4 events.... (like we do on the channelselection screen) and keep the rest of the layout as is...

Yes I means to display the URL in location where we have the DVB information: Frequency, Symbol Rate, ....
As mentionned by littlesat we had this information in the default skin and I often need it when I need to fix some non working URL.
If you need to truncate the information it is the end which is important not really the beginning but I would prefer to avoid any truncating.
We have it now in the Service info screen but the end is truncated making it unusable. Would it be possible to have an automatic line split and foreseen then more space to display the URL in this screen (3 lines will be welcome).

Then below the Free to air there is plenty of unused space.
The URL is really important for debugging and the end is the more important part but would better to not truncate it and display it on multiple line if needed.

I presonally don't need it in the infobar, as, like littlesat says, it is always cut off, and the relevant bit is usually at the end, so you have to go about / services anyway.
And I think wrapping makes it even more of a visual mess. Yes, it may be handy for debugging, but how often do you do that, compared to the times being annoyed because of all that clutter visible every time you press "OK"?

Hi,
When performing and OpenPLi update from the GUI, we have a black full screen mentioning that it can takes several minutes, the problem is that this screen background is not full black.
So by transparency we can see the default OpenPLi background (since I use develop it's the television test pattern) which is in fact quite ugly, would it be possible to turn the upgrade full screen background into full black?
Thanks,
Pr2
OK. Added solid background to the QuitMainLoop screen (i hope is this one).
Also added TMDB skin for PLi version.
The update screen is now quite ugly because we have the OpenPLi logo on black (but still transparent background) and the text is now with grey background instead of full black background.
So I am speaking of the option 1 when we upgrade the box.
Sorry I cannot grab the screen from OpenWebf since OpenPLi is stopped.

So I think that the text should be displayed with transparent background and that it's the displayed image that needs to use full black background.

To see the complete details you should show the complete URL in the service info screen.... In the second infobar the condensed/cutted off version should be sufficiant.

The URL is today truncated into the Service info screen so making it unusable there.
Possible solution is to split the URL to have the protocol and port on one line and the parameters on the other one.
And to be honest I prefer to have it full in the second infobar like we have today it is more user friendly and natural to check it there.

Pretty pointless imho. What do you do with the info a cut-off URL provides, and why do you need to see that ALL the time?

I am talking of the second infobar not the first one!
In the Service screen the URL is always truncated, so the only place to see the full URL is in the second infobar where there are plenty space to display it.
I am back to OpenPLi default skin and in the second infobar on top we have the full URL and there are many room for it.
So in DarkOS I would suggest to display the URL where the DVB information are normally displayed but DimitarCC display a screenshot that this place is already used for OE-A images.
So I suggest to place it below the crypto (which is Free To Air for IPTV).
