how is that possible when the receiver received a lot of cec commands after the command you highlighted. It doesn't make sense that tv sent commands to the receiver in standby mode about input source change but wouldn't sent the input source commands when the input source is receiver itself.

What is the CEC address assigned to your box ( the current CEC address as shown in setup / system / A/V / HDMI-CEC setup ) ?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Thought so.

So the TV is sending a routing update from 0.0.0.0 (the TV) to "2.0.0.0",  and sets a stream path to 2.0.0.0.

According to the specs, for 0x86 Set Stream Path:

Any CEC switches between the TV and the source device shall switch
inputs according to the path defined in [Physical Address]. A CEC device
at the new address should come out of standby, stream its output
and broadcast an <Active Source> message.

and this is not implemented, it only broadcasts the message if it is not in standby.

So this needs looking at.

Ok but what about the other problem of receiver not waking up when the tv is turned on?

Did you debug those commands too?
