And as you cannot create a certificate etc from the user interface I'm convinced doing this via the command line is somehow the best way to go....

That is a Windows installer? What do you want with that on your box?

Like I said, this requires knowledge, which you clearly don't have.

How about just install it from the feed:

opkg install openvpn

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

A picture of what?

OpenVPN is just a system package, it has no user interface, you need to configure it from the commandline.

I don't understand your point.
I think the real issue is this.
If you want to explain to me with a picture, maybe I can come to a conclusion,
Thank you very much

That is the problem. You don't know what you want, why you want it, and how to do it.

It is too complex for a "colour-by-numbers", as there are lots of different scenario's depending on what the server is and how it is configured, as the server (side) dictates who things work. Without a server, there is no point trying to install a client.

Like I wrote before, in my case my firewall provides the OpenVPN server, and it generates the config for a client when I create a user for it on the firewall.

Hi

When I press the green button some plugin are not available is shown before the plugin is shown.
Why does this happen and how will it end?

Either not completely removed, which can happen if you remove manually or if you installed a plugin containing only source, so the compiled versions remain behind after deinstallation, or you installed plugins that are not compatible.

Both are because you installed ipk's manually, most of those floating around on forums are written and packaged badly, or written for OE-A images without taking compatibility into account.

You remove installed plugins by going to into the plugins menu, and press the red button. It lists all installed plugins.

After you removed them, restart Enigma.

If that doesn't fix it, you will have to remove the remainders manually, from /usr/lib/enigma2/plugin/Plugins/Extensions ( or /usr/lib/enigma2/plugin/Plugins/SystemPlugins ).

Is is a virtual tuner setup that works transparently and automatically, using streams (as opposed to SatIP virtual tuners).

When you zap to a channel for which no local tuner is available, to channel is retrieved from another box as a stream.

It was originally designed for the Zgemma I55 (which is an Enigma box without tuners), but it works on every box, for example if the only local tuner is busy with a recording, or if you want to watch Cable but the box only has Sat tuners.

Using the same configuration you can also import timers and EPG from the "server box" (tunerless boxes have no means to receive EPG, and no option to record locally).

In my setup, I have a VU+ Duo 4K with 16 tuners which does all recording, so I am using the remote timer functionality all the time, creating recording timers on the Duo 4K from any box in the house.

You don't need to do anything on the box providing the stream, this is about a client box. And it is documented in the wiki: https://wiki.openpli...remote_receiver

This is the config I have on my office box:

I import EPG from my SF8008, as it has a DVB-T tuner, and my Duo 4K hasn't so it can't receive EPG for it.

( I run a develop image, with the E2 DarkOS skin )

Hi

What is the easiest way to connect the receiver to the computer if I want to watch satellite TV channels on my computer?

Use the webinterface like in the attached image, choose the channel you want to watch by clicking on the TV icon and the stream will be started, probably the default player of Windoof will be started, you could consider using VLC as the default player, it does a much better job than that windows junk.
