Ah I see, you are wondering why the install command did not work? I copied the file via FTP without an issue so the London file is okay now. I've just tested again to see if will update the Paris file.

root@h9combo:~# opkg install tzdata-europe --force-reinstall
Installing tzdata-europe (2023c) on root
Configuring tzdata-europe.

root@h9combo:~# ls -l /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Paris
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root             0 Jul 31  2023 /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Paris

Even after reboot, file shows 0 size.

Sorry that I didn't come back to you yesterday, totally forgot.

I've found why it didn't work. "important" timezones are defined in tzdata-core, not in the tzdata-<continent> package. For Europe, London, Moscow and Paris are, so these are not in the europe package.

Remains the question why they has a zero size, but I guess we'll never know...

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
