Keep in mind that plugins like xtreamity or xclass have its own channel lists so i am not sure do they can do integration in gmepg....
My plugin is different. It work with standard channel list/bouquets. But still can play normal m3u, xtreme codes, stalker.
Since my plugin works with standard things in enigma it is easy to be integrated to epg...

I don't use those plugins myself, I also use bouquets, but for VOD and catchup I don't have an alternative at the moment...

So you use Xtreme codes server then? Since VOD is not really possible easy with plain m3u....

As for the catchup if it is Xtreme Codes is clear...But if it is m3u what type of catchup is used in your playlist?

Currently my plugin supports default and shift catchup types for plain m3u playlists....

As for the VoD implementation is simple at the moment. just a list of movies and series in groups...

No fancy posters and so on. Well you can use tmdb plugin to lookup a movie and get a poster and info. But its basic otherwise.

But its usable and you can play VoD, seek, remember the last played position...

I don't know what "Extreme codes server" is. I'm an end-user in this respect, just testing the waters...

 

My provider has an API that returns an m3u file with both the live streams and the VODs / Series. They also have an API that returns json with entries like

I see Xstreamity and Xklass ignore the first API (the m3u file), they retrieve the json and use that to generate there own custom UI (which looks very much like an GMEPG).

Ok. So you have xtreme codes api.
My plugin supports that... Generate bouquets for each category, import the epg via epg import plugin, load the vod in separate lists and can use the catchup from gmepg.
So you need the url, user name and password to set it up...

Well you can try it then...
I didnt test it extensibly on openpli so if you have a time you can give it a try...
The main advantage is that vod is separated and channels works as normal dvb services...

P.S. If you decide to try it i can give you latest code from today... But keep in mind that my latest PR should be accepted and used so catchup to work

OK. What skin you were using? Here with DarkOS i dont get crashes. Maybe you use standard skin?

If that is the case it can be....

 

Try attached converter....and tell me is it working. If not then try to switch to darkOS and see is it crashing there.

With your skin on the Scarthgrap image it seems to work better but still without a result.

The box is connected to the internet.

First the slashes should be like that ://.
And there is no port? If there is you have to include it in url.... If it still not work give me a debug log so to see.

P.S. Do you have google dns 8.8.8.8 blocked? If so you can adjust the setting to not do that check. Also your setup is for xtreme codes. Is that correct?

What are you doing with hardcoded DNS entries? And why?

 

That is VERY bad practice, to force users to bypass or weaken their security.

 

( and won't work for everyone who has implemented something like pi-Hole for example ).

 

I urged VIX to remove that from their images too, as it causes "internet not accessable" errors which are complete bollocks (not sure if VIX has already removed those checks).
