Ehi, I have experience in IT but no Linux distribution installed, only Windows, so I don't know how to do and what exactly...

Can someone tell me if the actual version of "dvb-v2" drivers in kernel 4.4.35 of all decoders like SF8008, uclan ustym 4k pro and others with same kernel, has the actual drivers dvb-v2 for RTL2832 (ie. "module-dvb-usb-rtl2832") kernel ".ko" driver updated from this link?

Because the above drivers are updated and support the latest slave demodulator Sony CXD2837...

Instead on kernel 4.4.35 I tried and the demodulator isn't recognized with all the drivers installed...

If the actual "module-dvb-usb-rtl2832" of Openpli is not at this revision, can someone build ko file for the kernel 4.4.35?

If not possible, is it possible to apply this signed-off "diff patch" in Enigma2? Is the official patch accepted in Linux distribution:

I ask this because actually the DVB-T2/C part of RTL2832P with CXD2837 demod isn't recognized in all the Enigma2 images with 4.4.35 kernel.

Ehi, I start saying that this problem is already experienced by various users (you can read on other forums) with the "Openpli" and similar images, but disappears on OpenATV, as you can read from other users. below the problem:

RTL2832 usb device installs correctly and is correctly recognized and it appears correctly in tuners list, but when try to scan the openpli icon spins continually and the device doesn't respond to commands and you have to restart. The same happens on OpenSPA, OpenHDF and other with the same Kernel 4.4.35. Instead, on OpenATV 6.4, with the same kernel, everything works. I already tried to use the same drivers and .ko modules used in the working OpenATV, but nothing changes... It seems a problem with "vtuner" as you can see from dmesg on when system initialized:

user.err kernel: vtunerc0: unknown IOCTL 0x4
user.err kernel: vtunerc0: unknown IOCTL 0x5

user.err kernel: vtunerc0: unknown IOCTL 0x6

and when you scan and system starts spinning, you get error:

user.err kernel: vtunerc0: unknown IOCTL 0x1

in the working OpenATV 6.4 there aren't those "unknown IOCTL" errors, and, if I remember correctly, dmesg shows "vtunerc0: usb frontend initialized as type=4" 

and not "type=0", but maybe I'm wrong... Any suggestion? Thanks in advance

Ehi, I bought an Uclan Ustym 4K Pro and installed official Openpli 8.2... In the video settings (expert mode) there isn't option to adjust "Scaler Sharpness". If I install the "videoenhancement plugin" in extensions I can see the new menu "Video enhancement settings" where I can adjust brightness, contrast, dynamic contrast and also shaprness, but this is not like "scaler shaprness" that I have active on my old decoder Evo E3HD with image Openpli 4... How can I use the scaler sharpness? Thanks
