While working on my project I already discovered that servicemp3 is doing wrong things with the pipeline.

No prerolling, no prerolled -> play  it just play it direct!

And stopping the pipeline is not going to all states, it shuts off directly...

Reworking the whole servicemp3 at once is taking a bit longer but I'll see if I can do a quick correct implement of the preroll and stopping of the pipeline.

My latest patch to prevent crashing of gstreamer 1.0

Right now all my git issues are over and busy with a complete rewriting of the crappy servicemp3, I have too much time to burn since I'm recovering from the flu

Its not done that these messages "gst_element_query_position failed in getPlayPosition" appear even if there cant be done a position query at that stage.

Its not done that epg updates are done on objects that dont need epg updates in the first place

Its obvious that over the years it has been extended with all kinds of patches. So back to the drawingboard!

- Wipeout of gstreamer < 1.0 -> NO MORE #ifdef constructions as it make sources difficult to read and lead easily to errors.

- Complete implementation of all gstreamer bus messages

- Basis for gstreamer 1.0 (handling of important bus messages, starting, pausing, stopping)

At this moment I see it as nice learning project for myself, when I'm happy with the results I'll post a patch so you all can shoot at it

Mijn XP1000@openpli4 heeft serieus problemen met de fritzbox waar die achter zit. Door de energiebespaar woede van fritz schakelt de nic van de xp1000 uiteindelijk naar 10Mbit

en dat geeft hikups met alle netwerk streaming. Ik heb daar heel wat in lopen klooien maar niets hielp. Uiteindelijk heb ik een extra switchje tussen gezet en nu blijft de nic constant op 100Mbit. Wellicht speelt er iets vergelijkbaars bij jou?

Its the other way around, they keep pushing their commits. Although I'm not a openpli team member I have a pretty good vision what openpli wants.

Some just dont fit in but keep trying nevertheless.

De NPO werkt voorlopig ook weer

- Added empty url protection for NPO

- Fetch stream url on new NPO media server

De NPO heeft weer lopen aanpassen... ze hebben momenteel schijnbaar enkel nog silverlight in de aanbiedning en daar kunnen we geen drol mee.

Als ik de paginas ga lopen surfen waar de boel vanaf gefetched wordt door de plugin kom ik opmerkingen tegen dat je browser "helaas" geen ondersteuning voor dat type video heeft.

Silverlight is het enige formaat wat ze nog ondersteunen.

Vermoedelijk hebben ze afgelopen 14 dagen alleen nog maar silverlight content klaargezet. Eerst had je er alleen last van met de allerlaatste uitzendingen maar nu is het dus algemeen.

Waarom, waarom denk ik dan weer. Enfin, ik geef mijn portie aan fikkie. Ik dacht dat ze daarzo in geldnood zaten maar blijkbaar geld zat om dit soort streken te betalen.

Enfin, een kleine update zodat in elk geval de boel niet crashed!

I think its wrong to just copy / paste code and take credits for it.

I believe the guy that took your code had good intensions and had some serious work with it to make the plugin working better.

All coding attemps starts small, not every one is a great coder that can do things from a to z on their own.

So perhaps be a bit more forgiving to a newbee coder and dont blow up the whole issue.

On the other hand, be glad your code is duplicated. (It means you did something very good)

I'm not fond of any license that restricts usage.

I even wont put my nick nor realname into the source itself.

If someone thinks it can be used or reused or whatever just do so. I know my own (bad) coding style and just smile.

However keep up the good e2 work and I hope you will some day change your "unique" licenses for GPL.

That would make your code even more usefull!

Kleine update, het viel mij op dat een rtl XL search met "meis" niet werkt, no hits... ook niet op originele pagina.

Maar als je asterixjes om de search zet werkt het wel (!)

Dus een ieniemienie update maar wereld van verschil
