hello @doglover a new channel Spike (property of Viacom) has been launched this week on italy DTT: is it possible to add it to (Base) epg channel? 

But i don't want you to lose time by writing new grabbers: as it is "new" maybe EPG sources (don't know from where you are grabbing data) are not ready (i.e. http://guidatv.sky.i...ke_370966.shtml the channel has been added but still without data)

So if this is the case, i can ping you on next weeks when more epg sources will be available.

By the end of next mount it should be added also to "Tivusat".

I do not know if you noticed, we have new sources.

In these the overlap of different counties have been eliminated.

 

In this case you have to activate:  Switzerland - Basis

This is a small file with the basic Swiss channels.

 

You may also want to activate the News Channels and the Rytec Miscellaneous sources.

 

If you want to take the trouble to scroll down and find the (xz version) you can take the advantage of using the xz versions of the sources.  The files are the same as the old versions, however compressed with xz, making the files half size.  You will need the latest XMLTVimport for this.  If you do not have it, use the regular versions at the top of the list.

You can see if you have the new version if the sources are listed categorised in a treeview.

Mezzo is an original French channel. And in the past the only schedule found was the French one.
It seems that also english data is to be found nowadays.

The schedule is in English, except for an occasional Polish word, like "program muzyczny"
I will grab this (For the homepage schedule, I need to write a grabber)

There is however a problem: The channel is shared between several providers. All the same service ref.
The French would like to have the schedule to be remain in French. So I will leave this intact.
I will also attach the english schedule to this same ref. So when you f.i. will load the French schedule and the Italian schedule (with the English programmetext) the last one loaded will win.
