instead try backup by telnet as follows

To telnet, click START > RUN and type Telnet ip.address.of.dreambox
A command window will appear, enter username root and password dreambox.

To backup an image using Telnet

• Telnet to the box and paste the following command:

• FTP to the box and navigate to the /tmp
• Here you will find the backup.img file.
•  

What is the relation between that wiki link and your box?

 

There is no DM800SE triple tuner, so if it is called that, it must be a clone. Anyway, we only provide support for OpenPLi running on boxes listed in the "Nightly Builds" section on our homepage.

 

If your box runs OpenPLi, it's either a hacked version, or an image from someone who used our sources to create a compatible image. Our sources may be used on the condition that the resulting product may not be called "OpenPLi" (but they may use "Based on OpenPLi"), they must provide their own package feeds, and their own support forum.
