dm8000 100% up and running now i got the dm off ebay secondhand for £50 but looks like new still as the film on the front and boxed but was abit worried it
might of been a clone but seem now is Genuine

i have set fstab like thisrootfs / auto defaults 1 1
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
usbdevfs /proc/bus/usb usbdevfs noauto 0 0
tmpfs /var/volatile tmpfs defaults 0 0
/dev/sda1 /media/hdd auto defaults 0 0
/dev/sdc1 /media/sd auto defaults 0 0
/dev/sdd1 /media/cf auto defaults 0 0
/dev/sdf1 /media/ms auto defaults 0 0
/dev/sde1 /media/sm auto defaults 0 0
now i can read the data on the usb stick but if i pull the stick out then plug back in then i cant see usb stick until i do a reboot so i think something is still missing.

so i am think i need "/dev/sda1 in fstab for the hdd to work plus i think i need more lines in fstab for the usb's and cf ?
