Kodi18.9 is the last version for python2.
From Kodi 19 Python3 is required.

P.S.: In the crash log there is Kodi 18.9 mentioned, though I expected at least 19.3 version in the nightly built. M.b. I'm doing smth wrong?

Unfortunately, I've failed to launch the plugin today (current nightly built dd 19Jan2022). Though no problem with 18.9 Leia on ATV 6.4.

Kodi needs to be supported by the vendor, as it needs EGL graphics drivers.

 

As far as I can see, they are present for the ET11000, so you might want to try the current nightly build, as much of the recent Kodi work was done after the release of 8.1.
