In Topic: How does channel numbering work?

Posted on another forum by me. " I would very much like to have totally independant bouquets so that when zapping I want to stay within that bouquet. On my old Challenger STB I get the facility to add channels from a complete satellite list to individual bouquets and I can zap within a bouquet without leaving it. I use this facility for example as follows. I have two similar bouquets, each with the same channels in the same order. The second bouquet has additional channels added at the end. So bouquet one can have, say, 35 channels and bouquet 2 can have, say, 57 channels. Channels 36 to 57 in bouquet 2 are mainly erotic channels which I do not want everyone to see. So I can be watching say, channel 27 RTL9 on either bouquet and nobody needs to know that I could be watching it from within bouquet 2. It´s a form of Parental Control as long as no-one realises that there is more than one bouquet with the same initial channel list.
I repeat, I would very much like to have totally independant bouquets.

I have the same as Robinson and I do not like it. I would very much like to have totally independant bouquets so that when zapping I want to stay within that bouquet. I did a complete system shutdown and later a restart and to my utter joy and amazement everything was working as it should, including my webinterface-old package. The webinterface-old package is now very stable in that the Vu now always connects to Internet without any problems. I do not know why I got the green screen.

In Topic: How to install cccam 2.2.1
8 October 2011 - 12:30
My CCcam plugin seems to have disappeared or the software has been corrupted or I just do not know what to do next.
A couple of days ago I downloaded the latest CCcam. Now I want to setup the softcam. However, it does not show up anywhere. This is what I get:
Setup/Softcam & CI /Softcam setup.../select Softcam ==> CCcam ==> Main menu (Softcam & CI /Softcam setup...) ==> CCcam etc. LOOP!
In other words, I cannot do a setup as it seems to be in a loop.
Also,
Main Menu / Plugins / Plugin browser ==> Cccam Info v1.3c but no CCcam plugin, so I cannot delete it. But when I do the following,
Main Menu / Plugins / Plugin browser ==> Cccam Info v1.3c /Cccam Info: Version:2.2.1. It apparently shows me that I have Ver. 2.2.1 installed somewhere!
I do not know if this has anything to do with it:
Setup/Software management/Manage extensions ==> just sits there. No result for “Updating software catalog; Searching for available updates. Please wait...”
My WebInterface is working as I can see a list of Plugins which can be downloaded.
Any clues to what I should do? Flashing a new image will not help as the image is recent (OpenPli20111007).
