Thank you! So, there is no problem to watch one service from dish A, and record second one from dish B with one FBC tuner, which is great for me.

Can somebody confirm that OpenPli image for Ultimo 4k also includes settings for tuner priority for watching and recording, like vu+ duo image? I don't want to be surprised unpleasantly. :)

Sorry, I haven't described my system precisely. I have two completely independent dishes. One is offset with diseqc actuator, and one prime focus with additional positioner, also diseqc controlled. They are now connected each to one of two tuners on my vu+ duo, and that's the setup I'd like to keep. Also, I find OpenPli as one of the best images because it features tuner priority setup, which many other images don't.

The thing which confused me is the post saying that FBC tuner is one tuner with two inputs, which sounded to me as if only one dish can be controlled at any time. Sorry for the confusion, and thank you all for clearing the matter.

[quote name="Pr2" post="693089" timestamp="1491154810"]An FBC tuner is a complex that exists of ONE tuner, TWO inputs and EIGHT demodulators. That counts for EVERY FBC tuner.

Does this actually mean that with only one FBC tuner, you can't simultaneously record/watch two tv programmes from different sat dishes/lnbs?

I am considering a move from duo to ultimo 4k, but I have a dual dish setup, both with diseqc positioners, so two independent tuners are a must.
