I ran the update of pli4 just before christmas and now I cant stream live tv to any device even on the internal network

recorded tv over port 80 if fine though 

 

 

the old saying if its working leave well alone comes to mind 

 

can see the red led come on on the duo then times out after about 5 mins 

 

has the streaming port changed I have everything get to use 8001 with live and 80 for recorded 

Ive just done a full reload of my Duo to pli4 took the opportunity to make a new listing using dreamset 

 

worked 100% on pli3 but cant get it to removed deileted channels at all from pli 4 

 

is there a work around for this or another editor thats known to work ?

 

I remove all adult channels from my listing so not been able to load a pre defined listing of my own making is a re pain for me 

just tried dreambox edit and that is now removing channels from the sat listing either 

 

 

 

 

I found a rouge user and server in my sbox config today 

I know I was not there last week as checked it before going on a weeks holiday 

 

the scum bag has even put a line in the crontab to update their server of any ip changes to 

 guess they did not know my dns details or did not want to loose the connection if I changed it

 

I also found that my root pass would not change even though passwd said it had 

have not re flashed and set a new pass and dns / port to be sure 

 

 

thing is I have no idea how they got in / found me as I know the 5 people who connect to my sbox personally to its not like Im touting on the big CS sites 

 

 

 

is it possible that the attact has come in via TSmedia as I installed this and only started to use it a week ago made no other changes to the system 

updated my vu duo last night and lost oscam as a card server 

 

it was now back as available to download as a plugin but seems to fail to install 

 

tried to install it as a cam but this fails also 

 

has anyone else experienced this problem ?

 

I use sbox as a cam duo the the local I have if that has a bearing on the problem 

 

 

ran the online update tool just now and now the box is sat on " starting " on the front display no tv output

did a clean reboot fine before the update ran and have tried removing usb and hdd still the same ?

network has not come up and not responding to usb either

any ideas?
