Also works with FEC set to 9/10 on sf4008.

Yeah! It works on my Zgemma receiver too, no need for FEC:AUTO or special DVB-S2X FEC values, thx!

The Auto works fine with vuzero4k.

I am 100% sure it works fine also using other receivers with S2X tuners (since today all used the SI2166 tuner).

The Si2166D offers an on-chip blind scan algorithm for DVB-S/S2/S2X standards, as well as a blind lock function.

Blind Lock if I am not mistaken means, give the frequency (and SR) and I will lock for you, without having to specify all the little details like FEC, Pilot, etc.

Same for Si2169D: "The Si2169-D offers an on-chip blind scanning algorithm for DVB-S2X/S2/S and DVB-C standards, as well as a blind lock subset mode." Source: Si2169-D DVB-T2/S2X/S2/T/C/S Digital Demodulator

You will need the AUTO option otherwise it won't work. If your receiver doesn't support AUTO FEC, you're out of luck.

I'll test it again maybe on sunday 'cause i'm on openatv today and i'll switch to egami tomorrow or saturday after that back to pli.

Did you use AUTO on FEC?

There is no AUTO option.

How enigma calls it is irrelevant.

Try it on the relevant 19.2E transponder mentioned. It may or may not work. The Si2166D can do both multistream and S2X, but it also needs driver support.

I tried to scan 12399H on Thor 7, but no succes 'cause of FEC 25/36.
