I didn't realise there were any 8mhz channels in Australia (I'm assuming that's your location).

I have now got a channel scanned

locally - they broadcast both 8mhz and 7mhz channels

I have now got the 7mhz channel receiving fine - after changes to terrestrial.xml

still no go on 8mhz channels

In 6 weeks - all channels will go from 8mhz to 7mhz - so I may be right to test again when that happens

Ok - that made some improvement

I already had drivers 9015 and kernel 9013

I installed tda18271 (both pkgs)

now I can now see the tuner in list of tuners

But cannot tune any channels

cable is fine tested on TV - scanned great

Terrestrial settings double checked look ok

but no channels found on scan

dmesg gives :

must be the unable to find symbol af9013_attach()

how to fix that ?
