If this is the same what some other people are getting, the old configuration file of a preious version of vsftpd is still there. This file contains settings that aren't correct for the new version. Was done and no success in FTP.
The solution was in the german part of the forum: create the directories vsftpd and chroot in /usr/sahre
The correct solution is to just re-flash the box, or run:
mv -f /etc/vsftpd.conf-opkg /etc/vsftpd.conf
(please please please send exact error messages, then I can help. Just saying "it doesn't work" leaves me no clue as to what the cause may be).
I have the same error, see screenshot
Running mv -f /etc/vsftpd.conf-opkg /etc/vsftpd.conf just gives me that mv is not found
root@dm800se:~# mv -f /etc/vsftpd.conf-opkg /etc/vsftpd.conf
-sh: mv: not found
