In Topic: RTL2832U chipset support proposal

Hi guys, in attachment you can find a new version of the Realtek driver patch for 3.7+ kernels.

The only changes since the latest version are 2 more USB PIDs that were requested a long time ago:

added definition of a new Terratec PCI-E stick (using the rtl2832u USB chip):
- TERRATEC Cinergy T Stick+ [ID 0ccd:00d7]
(thanks to sfasf);

added definition of a new Leadteck USB stick:
- Leadtek WinFast DTV2000 DS PLUS [ID 0413:6f12]
(thanks to michaelp);

Hello Gennar1

Sorry for twice this request. I didn't see my first request until I posted this one.

I have the Terratec T stick+ but it doesn't work here.

Is it possible that the patch is not yet part of the kernel?

I have kernel 3.8.7, OpenPLi version 4

I've tried to add the patch to the kernel myself but I got stuck when I got the message that git is not installed. Unfortunately I have little understanding of linux.

If the patch is already in the kernel, where do I find it and how to install?

Thanks, Remie

@Gennar1

I have this TERRATEC T Stick+ [ID 0ccd:00d7] but it doesn't show up with my tuner configuration.

Is this patch already part of OpenPLi or do I still have to patch?

And if I have to patch, is there someone who can make an ipk file for the xtrend9000?

I'm not capable of make that myself and I get stuck in your explanation earlier on -sh: git: not found.

It's clear that I have to install the git package but that goes beyond my knowledge.

Thanks.
