Dear All,

Is there a way to get Open air working on a vu+duo running OpenPli 4?

I found a package but when I try to install it it tries to install B\onjour and fails as follows:

 

root@vuduo:/media/hdd/tmp/airplay# opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-openai
r_1.0git20140213-r0_all.ipk
Installing enigma2-plugin-extensions-openair (1.0git20140213-r0) to root...

 * opkg_download: Failed to download http://downloads.pli...org/feeds/openp
li-4/vuduo/enigma2-plugin-extensions-bonjour_experimental-git3855+eaec606-r10_vu
duo.ipk, wget returned 255.
 * opkg_install_pkg: Failed to download enigma2-plugin-extensions-bonjour. Perha
ps you need to run 'opkg update'?
 * opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package enigma2-plugin-extensions-openair.
 
When I try to install Bonjour from the plugins menu, it is as if it was working, but then where would I see that Bonjour has been installed?

PS: I am after trying to get my vuo+ acting as an AirPlay server, so any alternative would also be welcome.

Cannot set password for root user

Dear all,

 

Something weird I discovered today.

In the past I had a password for the user root, but I realised today there is none anymore.

I can login to the box with the user root, and teh system doesn ot even prompt for a password.

 

I tried to to "passwd" with the root account, the system asked me the new password twice, but still after that, I can still telnet with no password!

 

Any view?

 

I have a vu plus duo running open pli 4.

A stupid question!
I installed last week pli 4 on vu plus duo. It works great but on some channels i can see an icon hbbtv,what is it? Where do i press to see what it is?

Open pli crashing since this morning every 20 minutes

Dear All,

 

Since this morning, my Open Pli installed on a vu+duo is crashing every 20 minutes!

 

I have no idea what is going on as this version has been running with no issue since years.

 

Find attach the crash log.
