May be it is time to get rid of timezone.xml? Just use /usr/share/zoneinfo/ files?

Nowhere else (nix systems) use this timezone.xml file.

Also you can install tzdata-europe package

But I hope openpli "sync" zones in timezone.xml file with files in /usr/share/zoneinfo/

Don't forget about /usr/share/zoneinfo/ files!

They are not a part of this issue, they're up to date (by OE core).

Why do you move timezone.xml to enigma2 package? Before I just delete tuxbox-common package and edit timezone.xml for myself. Now I should replace timezone.xml every time I update my box. I think if you move timezone.xml to enigma2 package you should actualize timezones!
