Can't the TV set do that?

Hi,

This is no about viewing 3D video in 3D Format :D This is about drwaing menus in 3D and so on. Like Bacciosat said, OpenGL support etc. Here is question if it have support for VDPAU, CrystalHD and VAAPI support, as there is no too much options under Linux. So I am not sure how this will look without that...

Let's wait and see.

As you know XBMC on ARM is quite limited.

I can assure for my direct experience that is not limited.
But it is true that there are little problems and issues to work around.
Btw i think we will see at the Vu+ stand in Anga Cable the next prototype of Arm based box running Xbmc

Yes, for that reason was my question. Ok I know that it is running under "hacked" Apple TV ofcourse, but issue is that ARM used in AppleTV is quite different than conventional ARM SoC's for other devices. But lets hope that XBMC will run fully on ARM.

I repeat.
Mipsel based chipset boxes (Vu+ currents and SE) will continue to run enigma2
New line of Arm based boxes will run Xbmc.

As you know XBMC on ARM is quite limited as because development was never serious for ARM based devices, so that is reason why I asked about that. And still there is no serious contribution from XBMC community for XBMC on ARM.

I think you are looking in a wrong direction.
I have seen @ Vu+ day the prototype running Xbmc and have nothing to do with these boxes.
It is a new box line based on an arm beagleboard

So it means just multimedia part will run, and TV part ? As in that way on ARM CPU's under Android for now is just working DVB-T under some tablets and media players.
