This USB tuner would be a great addon to a Enigma 2 machine since it would enable the reception of new modulation modes and specialy the MIS feature - Multi Input Stream on some transponders.

 

enigma2 must to be patched "multistream id + pls mode"..like in vdr, tvheadend  , progdvb, dvbviewer, smartdvb...since long time ..

after , make symlink

TSmedia > /media/usb/TSmedia

if you want to load enigma2pc since xbmc

in linux

A sudo apt get install  wmctrl

B sudo gedit /usr/local/e2/bin/autostart.sh

add a line >  sudo modprobe dvbsoftwareca

C make a script like :

#!/bin/sh

wmctrl -r "XBMC Media Center" -b toggle,hidden

sleep 0.5

killall -STOP xbmc.bin

/usr/bin/sudo -u yourusernopassword /usr/local/e2/bin/./autostart.sh

killall -CONT xbmc.bin

wmctrl -r "XBMC Media Center" -b remove,hidde

 

D sudo chmod 755 /path of the script

 in xbmc

E  load extension Advanced launcher 

F  in Advanced launcher > executable >choose your script > linux >esc.>esc.
