It's possible to run OpenPLi on MK802 Mini PC?
The MK802 runs Ubuntu: https://www.miniand....rums/2/topics/1

This is a cheap (50$) mini pc with strong cpu and hardware 1080p decoder.

It's possible to run OpenPLi on Android devices like MK802 mini PC?
The hardware is more stronger than a dreambox. Only a USB DVB-S2 or DVB-T tuner needed.

In that case, have you tried to use the 'auto' policy (echo auto > /proc/stb/video/policy, and/or echo auto > /proc/stb/video/policy2)
That seems to do just that, auto letterbox / pillarbox zoom.

I tried, and it works! Thank you!

OK, but I didn't mean that. The 16/9 content is in a 4/3 picture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Letterbox), and the 16/9 switching signal is not present, so that only the manual zoom is the solution.

One of the OpenPLi image developers (Milo) said this would be relatively easy to implement. He had the following to say:
"You could bast this option on the amBX grabber code which takes a screenshot about 10 times a second. For the detection you would only have to look at the Luma (Y component) which makes processing a lot easier."
