Xmltv and / or Crossepg on same box

Hello gurus..

I have doubts about the EPG. Is it necessary for me to have both XMLTV and crossepg installed on my 500hd box?

If not and I can make with one of them, what must it be - when I can not quite grasp what the difference is between these 2 EPG tools.

Is there a kind soul who can point me in the right direction.

Hi all sat-tv lovers on OpenPLi forum.

New to this board but not to this world with linux setup boxes and related gears.

My wish for this year is to get my hands on a Vu+ Ultimo.

Have joined this community today after upgrading my 500hd with the lastest OpenPLi image for that box. I really love this smooth working subtitles function that gives me automatic subtitles.

Glad I have found this community and images. To the teams - Keep up the good work..
