In Topic: Mutant HD60 - CPU Usage

Tested today with OpenATV 6.5 and the result is the same, about 13. Now I can cofirm is a HiSilicon SoC behaviour, nothing to do with OpenPLI, OpenATV....

root@mutant60:~# cat /etc/issue
Welcome to openATV \n \l
openatv 6.5 \n \l
root@mutant60:~# uname -a
Linux mutant60 4.4.35 #1 SMP Wed Sep 2 12:32:31 UTC 2020 armv7l GNU/Linux
root@mutant60:~# uptime
 10:18:26 up  2:29,  1 user,  load average: 13.05, 13.01, 13.00

Many thanks everyone,

Thanks for the info mrvica, but H7 is not running in a HiSilicon SoC, H7 works in a BCM7251S SoC.

This high usage seems to be affecting only HiSilicon SoC's.

You mention that the box himself works like a charme. What was the exact reason that you checked with top or htop as all seemed to work ok? Why not flash another OpenPLi Release image without restoring any previous setup?
If an image works flawlessly I wouldn’t care about a certain value.

I agree with you Frenske, but I've been using Enigma receivers for a lot of years (about 10 years) and that's the firts time I see something like that (cpu usage).

I wanted to know if it's "normal" / it's a distro bug / or my device is faulty in order to ask for a replacement.

It seems to be something realted to HiSilicon SoC (as MCelliotG is pointing), if someone could confirm it, then I'll forget this issue.

Thanks everyone for your ideas!!!
