If using an OpenPLi image:

opkg update
opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-openwebif

Or you could probably install through the package management system (plugins) with the remote.

Other images you could just download he files from https://github.com/E...Webif/downloads & copy to / over write your existing OpenWebIf install...

Hi guys, can anyone give me a pointer on how to compile and install openwebif on a xtrend et9000 please. It already has an old version on there but want to replace it with the newest version.

regarding 1)
- I think you're not using the latest openwebif, it should /?/ has been fixed few days ago:

Hi great work love the interface.

Couple of things - dont know if this is the place to post them?

1) Theres an inconsistancy with the old interface on enigma2 when using the API:
Old: 
http://et9000down/web/message?text=Hello&type=1&timeout=8
Webif:
http://et9000down:8088/web/message?message=Hello&type=1&timeout=8
Note the first parameter has changed from "text" to "message"

2) When using a dns name in the web address the interface doesnt work properly (js links fail) replacing with an ip fixes this. This however isn't good if you use a dhcp environment and rely on dns names.
