help with image based on Openpli

21 August 2021 - 16:29

Hello good afternoon, first of all forgive my English, but I do not speak English, because I am Spanish and this is a google translation ....
I use this forum because after trying in the Gigablue forum, and not getting anyone to tell me why this problem and its possible solution, being an image based on Openpli, maybe you can help me ......
I have a Gigablue with a TeamBlue image that up to now never gives me problems and in fact I was quite satisfied with this decoder and this image, because it met my expectations ...... until a few months ago I updated the teamblue image ... ..
You see, until a few months ago, I had the Kodi 18.x Leia plugin installed in my decoder and it worked well, especially to be able to put child programming on my 4-year-old son .....
But all that changed after the last update, that after updating the image, I had several problems, one of the problems the first one I noticed is that I lost the hdd that I had configured as media hdd, see if I explain the hdd was on, I had the content, but the deco did not recognize it as hdd media and I had to initialize it, and with that I lost data, thank goodness I had a backup copy, the second problem that I noticed is that I had a sd card partitioned into two parts, first part as Swap and the rest for timeshift and the storage of the epg, so I did not have the epg in the hdd and when I opened the guide or the list of channels, the hdd did not start up, with the consequent saving of energy and lengthening the life of the hdd, not making it start every time I changed the channel, after the update I could no longer use the sdcard, neither as swap, nor to store epg data, nor for timeshift ... in short, two problems that already I have been able to solve, but there are u A problem that I have not yet been able to solve, or find the error, no matter how much I have searched the internet and it is the kodi installation every time I try to install kodi either from repositories, from terminal through the opkg command or installing kodi from install local extension of the tmp folder, I always get the same error, in theory kodi has been installed, because I can uninstall it, but the list of installed plugins does not appear, if in the list of plugins to uninstall and the error that throws me it's kodi (Cannot import iAVSwitch) and as much as I've searched the net, about that error, I can't find anything ...
The only thing I can think of is that the version of kodi that is in the repository is already migrated to Python3, although it would be strange to me ...

Would someone know to tell me what is the reason for this error?
Would someone know how to solve it ???
Would someone tell me where I can download older versions of the kodi plugin for gb7252 ???
to test if it is a plugin problem .....
How can I compile a version of the kodi plugin for my gb7252 ???

something, I need something, to help me get the plugin up and running again, if it can be ......

Sorry, for the piece of brick or bible that I have written to you, but I had to explain a little what happened to me, so that you would understand me, a little better ......

Thanks in advance, and greetings from Spain
