Folks,

 

Thank you all for the support and the help.

I finaly managed to install the latrest updated image of OpenPli.

 

I leave you here how I managed to do it on my Zgemma H8.2 box:

1. Download the latest image onto a FAT32 USB stick and extract it on the root folder.
2. Shut down the box - using the power button on the back of the unit. - Use the hardware button NOT the power button on the remote.
3. Plug in the 32FAT USB stick with the image in it.
4. Press the MENU key on the remote and keep pressing it all the time.
5. Power the unit back ON again using the same power button on the back of the receiver
6. When you see the first image when powering up. STOP pressing the MENU button (release it).
7. The box will automatically update the image.
 
I wasn't releasing the MENU button, and the box wasn't updating... - this was my error.

Are you sure this is a genuine openpli image as softcams should be in the feed… or maybe you already installed all possible softcams…

Even if all softcams were installed, the menu item should be visible.

 

Are you sure this is a genuine OpenPLi image or is it a box delivered by someone who also delivered other 'services' ? In that case you should install a fresh image on your STB.

I might to what you're suggesting and install a fresh copy of the Openpli into it...

 

I'll see if I can find any manuals to help me through...

Just checked. No problem noticed as expected. Check the image and / or your TV.

 

Hello.

 

I just test on 6 different Zgemma H8.2H, every single one box do the same buggy image. Maybe is something with the language selected? (In my case Portuguese).

With other system images that bug image don't happen.

 

I also found other people on the internet with same problem.

 

Which version of OpenPLI you are using?

I have one also. and I have no issue with the 1080p. I'm with Portuguese also.

Maybe you need to run an update to the OS.
