Creation of .cuts file in NFS storage

16 January 2024 - 09:44

Hello, I recently moved from VTI to OpenPLI. I was able to somehow configure everything according my needs and I feel OpenPLI is much better than VTI. Currently I am facing with just one stupid problem, but it drives me crazy. I haven't in box any local HDD, therefore I am connected via NFS to my LAN storage. Everything is OK except marking of play status on movies. When I was using VTI, it created always .cuts file in location of movie file, which was presented on the box and I was easily able to see which movies were already played or even continue from last position. Here on OpenPLI I have this also configured, but it is showing for me only after I hit stop button. When I go to another file and start playing it, it will disappear.  I was checking NFS storage and box is not creating cuts file at all. I checked rights (I even did ssh to box as root, I did test - touch of file in NFS location and it was working). So I am sure this problem is not because of NFS storage or rights but it needs to be somehow within box, either bug or I have something wrong.

Please do not tell me, that OpenPLI is not able to create these cuts file on remote store  :)
