Hi forum.
My old PSU for my DM7020 (not HD) is dead, and now i need a new one.
Question:
Do you know of any good place to buy a new PSU ??
I have found a couple of places that say they have it in stock, but some of them places looks a little "strange", so i would rather buy from a known source or someone you approve on.
To sort out any confusion, then YES, i also have a 500 and a 7025, but those works fine.. ;-)

DM500: Language problem on one single channel ?
21 October 2012 - 10:19
I have a strange problem, and it is an ongoing problem i have had on all the images i have tried.
The problem is only on my DM500, and not at all on my DM7025... (I know the firmware is completely different on those two, so this was just info)
The problem:
WHEN i go to Eurosport on 1W the DM500 switch to Swedish language, and when i try to switch it to Danish it switch for a secound and then go back to swedish.
I can try to switch language to danish 20-30 times before the reciver accept the change and stay on Danish.
When it is on Danish i have tried to restart enigma, and also reboot the reciver, to try and save the "settings", but the result is allways the same.
- when i go to eurosport it always select swedish.
In settings i have Danish selected as first language, then English, then Norway and at last Swedish...
In there i have tried many different settings, but this don´t seem to have any effect...
Can anyone figure out what i can do ??
It is the ONLY channel i have the problem on...
Can i set something up in a file inside the filesystem instead perhaps??

DB7025 mount /hdd to a NAS, problem?
10 August 2012 - 16:37
Hi forum.
So my DB7020 died on me, and then i decided to buy one of them cheap DB7025 boxes instead of trying to get the old box repaired.
NOW, i an really confused here, as i some how expected a 7025 to look a little as my old 7020 box, but that is FAR from the truth....
I had no harddrive inside my 7020, and i don´t want to have a drive inside my 7025 eigther....
In my 7020 i could make the mount setup from within webif, but as far as i see that can´t be done in 7025 webif ??
Then i tried to make the mount from the setup screen, and it mounts, but that dont work eigther...
The only way i can mount is with a telnet session ??
My NAS is 192.168.1.25/dreambox and it accepts both NFS and CIFS mounts.
Pleace, can you tell me what the "right" way is to setup this inside the onscreen menu ??

DEAD DB7020 hardware, pleace help me...

Hi Forum.
As i have no place else to turn to, pleace forgive me for trying to get help here in this forum...
So my dear old DB7020 died on me yesterday...
For a long time now, it have been acting up, errasing settings and flash and so on from time to time.
So i started to turn it off at night to save the dreambox from heavy uptime...
It is about 7 years old and have pretty mutch been running 24/7 all these years...
Now when i turn it on with the power-button in the back, there is light in the display, but NOTHING else...
At first i thought it was perhaps only faulty display, but there is also no ethernet comunication, so the reciver looks pretty dead...
The ONLY thing i can do is to turn on and off the light in the display with the standby button in the front of the reciver...
Pleace people, have you tried anything like this, and do you have any thoughts about this issue at all ??
Anything i can try to correct the issue ??
I am thinking it perhaps is the powersupply that is faulty, but i think it will be a bad deal to try and replace that, and then discover it was in fact something on the main board instead...
If you have any knowledge about repairing DB7020, or know of any forum or informations sites that have info on this reciver i will be really happy to hear from you !
Regards
Peter
