This is a novice question, please bear with me.

I have been struggling to get my two dreamboxes, a DM500HD and a DM520 to talk to each other for some time now with little success. The setup I would like to achieve is: my DM520 is connected to the sat dish and is working fine with all channels on the local TV. I would like to connect the DM500HD to a second TV in the bedroom where there is no sat dish connection but only a LAN socket. I would like to see what I have on the DM520 on the bedroom TV as if i were in front of the DM520. I have now come across a plugin that would seem to do the job, remotestreamconvert. I installed it on the DM500HD from the feed (2.0+git28) without erros but it does not appear in the plugins and there is no way to set it up. I am using the latest version of openpli 4 (2018/02/19) on the DM500HD.

Could somebody point me to what I am doing wrong please?

I am running PLI4 on a DM500HD and have been trying to change the boot logos unsuccessfully. I like the PLI image and I also like the bootlogo actually, it's just that I like to tinker with things and learn more about this box, but this excercise is slowly driving me insane and some help from you knowledgeable guys would be much appreciated.

I can easily change bootlogo.mvi, but no matter what I try I cannot change bootlogo_wait.mvi nor backdrop.mvi. Actually I can change them easily in /usr/share but when I reboot the box only bootlogo.mvi appears. I have changed the symlinks in /boot and in /usr/share to point to the correct files instead of all pointing to bootlogo.mvi, but it makes no difference.

I have tried with LogoMatik and with Dream_Logo_Generator without any luck either. I also read that loading a bootlogo.jpg in /boot should show that image much earlier in the booting process. It makes no difference in my box. What am I missing? Does the PLI image not use the other logos in any case?
