Posted by Finally, I figured out that the problem comes from the network interface. For some reason, even if OpenPli is installed and running, restarting it with an ethernet cable plugged in prevents it from completing the boot. Unplugging the cable allowed it to boot normally.
When the cable is plugged in, restarting the network interface freezes the receiver. Testing the interface results in issues getting an IP address but using a static one works. Note that all other devices at home use DHCP addresses with no issue.
Please, let me know if you can investigate on that. I can help, at least by running tests.
