Change this:

#SERVICE 5002:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:[url without extension (.ts)]

Into:

#SERVICE 5002:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:3:[url without extension (.ts)]

Can you explain the meaning of this field?

Didn't understand what's happened but now, after few tests were I played movies and one reboot, extePlayer3 is correctly started.

I can see it in the list of processes when an IPTV stream is selected and it stops for a DVB channel.

I changed nothing in my userbouquet.tv and in the service app config. I really don't like this kind of things... Really strange ;-(

However, meantimes, I can ask more details about the optimisations of extePlayer3.

 - How can we change buffering?

 - How can we optimize the player if the IPTV stream is a little bit slow? what are all the available optimisations?

 - Where do we have to do them (Globally or per stream)?

Thanks again for your help

you can check it this way, go to MovieSelection, highlight a movie file, open Context menu (menu key), play with exteplayer3

It is working - By specifying the Ext2Player3 in the menu context, I can played the video (see attachment)

The correct players is launched (I can see it in the process list) and I can see the mkv...

For information, it is also working with the gstplayer...

I'm now a little bit lost...Seems my issue related to a configuration issue; May be my userbouquet.tv?

is serviceApp checking only the service at the beginning of the line or something else?

In my userbouquet.tv, each service is defined with the following syntax:

#SERVICE 5002:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:[url without extension (.ts)]

#DESCRIPTION Channel name

did you try exteplayer3 form command line, could be some lib (link) missing

It is working correctly (see the execution of the command in the attachment).

Seems more and more that something is wrong in the configuration of ServiceApp...

Can you confirm that the binary must be launched with DVB and IPTV stream?

What is the streamproxy binary? is it the default player?

Ok but ExtPlayer3 seems never launched because, as explained, I can only see streamproxy when I’m checking the process list via ps!!!!!
Is there a way to check if everything has been correctly installed?

Moreover, following my understanding and my configuration (see serviceApp config in my previous msg) ExtPlayer3 should always be used; even with non IP stream. Is it correct?
