Also in my place in Italy, signal seems to have decreased. I cannot give the figure in dB, since my OpenPLI in a GigaBlue insists on giving me only the %, whatever I try and set, but I am down to 55% from 65% in clear sky and dangerously down to 45-48% in downpours. Margins have reduced a lot. 1.8 m Channel Master. Sleepy

Dear all,

what has started must be concluded.

One year ago I was trying to catch multistream signals with no success.

I decided to make more investigations to understand where the problem was.

Eventually, after many checks and thoughts, I bought an additional S2X tuner for my Giga.

And I instantly began receiving all multistream signals.

Also the French ones at 5W, which have a "nasty" FEC parameter.

Everything coming in 100% quality.

Only last difficulty was the OpenPLI software, which would not allow me to configure in a convent way the tuners (I have 2 dishes, as many here, and the switching between the 2 input ports was not working as desired. since the settings file was not correctly rewritten).

Solution: download the /enigma2/settings file (backup just in case), erase all nims lines, init 4 to stop enigma, upload, reboot (or init 3), reconfigure from scratch (easy).

So, questions solved. I had a bad tuner in the box, as Binsche was suggesting, but it took some time to check the whole system (interleaved with daily duties).

I use these parameters for BBC channels, edit them with dreamboxedit 7.

Video = Video PID
PCR = PCR PID

MPEG = MPEG PID

Dear Robertooo,

this works really fine.

But is there a way to copy and paste (or transfer from a list to the other) these channels from a list to the other without losing all extra parameters?
I mean, using Dreamboxedit or similar, not directly editing lamedb file.

I tried in many ways (probably all but the one which would work), but I have not managed. I always end up with the channels with the precious bits stripped.

I would like to keep the BBC settings in a separate file and insert them in the channel list when updating it without reinserting again all the missing parameters by hand (in any way we know).

Thank you in advance for any help.
