A workaround: rename /et/modutils/dvb_vuplus to /etc/modutils/01dvb_vuplus, execute update-modules, and reboot. That should fix things.
The cause of the problem is that the drivers for the usb dvb sticks are loaded before the vuduo drivers. The drivers are listed in separate files in /etc/modutils. These files are examined in alphabetical order. By renaming the dvb_vuplus file, you ensure that the drivers for the vuduo are loaded first. In case of the ET-XXXX boxes, the drivers are loaded first because the file listing the drivers starts with a '_'.
