It's the other way around, Dream stopped supporting Open Source.

 

What ever the reason is or who to blame the result is the same - no Pli images for new DreamBox models.

They say it is based on the Openpli, and is included the latest DreamBox features.

Yes I found on one forum OpenATV for DM820HD as well as Gemini,NewNigma2, Ozoon and few others.
