If you use the Autobackup plugin to make a backup of your settings, and enable autoinstall to make a backup of your installed plugins, the image will prompt for the restore of these settings on the first boot after a new flash.

 

With this you'll be up and running in no time without having lost anything (disclaimer: it does not backup/restore anything installed by hand, you have to make sure these things are selected for backup yourself).

Thnx for this tip. Flashed new image and auto restore worked. Everything is working now!

We have had a complete cleanup and have built all images and packages from scratch. This took a long time and finished yesterday evening. The next step is to FLASH the last image and it will probably be alright. Don't update!

First of all, thanks for taking the time to have a look at this issue. Just to be clear, if you have a Vu+ Solo 4k you'll need to do fresh install (flash image) with the latest image from this site?

After, restore your settings. I also have the plugin that takes a full backup (image backup I think), best not to restore that backup?
