A workaround for 4:2:2 would include streaming such a satellite feed to a computer, then opening it with MPC, VLC or other suitable player and then streaming it back to the box in order to watch it on TV instead of a computer.
i wonder if someone could some time find a quick way to perform these operations.

If you need the pc anyway where´s the benefit than...?

It should be capable on it´s on with out the pc so it would be interesting.

My problem here is that if I want to see 4:2:2 i basicly need to buy a new pc ´cos the old one is just too damn slow to play it smoothly. :(

Especially if you wanna use some "better" deinterlace like Yadif(2x)...

I think you need to have 50 (or something like that) posts until you see the quote button.

Well I got the "quote" as you see.

I´m talking about "thank you" -button....

Still not here.

But thanks to you all!

I tried and with my computer played on VLC that Tennis clip nicely. Then I downloaded the VLC for VU+ Solo 4K, but which media player is right to use, I don't know? Also, I tried the xbmc and no go. However, I think that it is possible, maybe in the near future?

Basicly it would be possible to stream the feed back to the box an open it with some player?

Well that would be something. We just need someone with more brains to code one...

Its possible to open iptv streams with any enigma2 so why not?
