(Sorry if this should turn out not to be the right forum. But I did not see a forum for PLI development.)

When playing a 16 bit 44.1 kHz WAV file at max volume, the digital out signal data width reverts from 24 bit to 16bit.

This is very nice because I would like to get the real WAV file data and not  data unnecessarily modified on the output.

BUT: A test here shows that the 16bit that are output are NOT the original 16 bit in the WAV file! A bug!

(This is necessary for me because some device updates are done through playing WAV files onto them -

but when just one bit is not the correct data bit from the file it does not work)

I would like to know the patch for my DM500HD openpli image or the current mediaplayer of 27-05-2015 that corrects this problem.

My 7020HD dreambox with standard dmm 2.0 image outputs the original 16 bit nicely.

It should not be a problem to fix.
