Perhaps a very dirty hack in pulseaudio_6.0.inc?

       pulseaudio-module-always-sink \
       pulseaudio-module-suspend-on-idle \
       pulseaudio-module-position-event-sounds \
       pulseaudio-module-role-cork \
       pulseaudio-module-switch-on-port-available"

- # If the server is installed, it's usually desirable to make ALSA applications
- # use PulseAudio. alsa-plugins-pulseaudio-conf will install the configuration
- # that makes the PulseAudio plugin the default ALSA device.
- RDEPENDS_pulseaudio-server += "alsa-plugins-pulseaudio-conf"

   # pulseaudio-module-console-kit is built whenever dbus is enabled by PACKAGECONFIG
   # but consolekit depends on libx11 and is available only for DISTRO with x11 in DISTRO_FEATURES
   RDEPENDS_pulseaudio-module-console-kit =+ "${@bb.utils.contains('DISTRO_FEATURES', 'x11', 'consolekit', '', d)}"
   RDEPENDS_pulseaudio-misc += "pulseaudio-module-cli-protocol-unix"

But pulseaudio and Music Player Daemon(mpd 0.19.12) is now building and installed in openpli-5.

I don't know if mpd and gstreamer can give conflicts if installed beside each other? But time will tell.
(it's just an experiment).

I just have to ok builds with :

https://github.com/O...ree/master-next

apart off the classic failure on rytec (this time that team succeeded to put a wrong zip file online (of 3 bytes long)) , its's obvious that whit junk it does not work.

hmm strange..this failure on pulseaudio is teasing me now for 3 months.Since i'm in master-next. Even when i build from stratch. And then i mean everthing inc. OS.(last on december 6).

I will try it again tomorrow. A new git clone....

It looks like that i miss something...

I now do have two perfect builds (feeds included). The only issue I had is the :

http://rytecepg.ipse...es.20151125.zip

Even with wget that source is a corrupt zip file off 3 bytes. So I needed to clean the recipe completely with bitbake <reciepe> -f -c clean all.

Revert commit  :

https://github.com/O...a9b0d92c8f9f4e9

After that two ok builds (note i'm using gstreamer-1.7.1.1  or actually git head of two days ago)

But You self wrote that patch for gcc5 on dm8000 is not required anymore. ??

I do have a succesfull build with master-next .  for dm 8000 and vuduo2 now images are not tested yet.  But for dm8000 I applied your patch on :

http://forums.openpl...ndpost&p=521691

pli branch I used is :

https://github.com/O...ree/master-next

so in base cloning  :

git clone https://github.com/OpenPLi/openpli-oe-core -b master-next

Yes indeed. It is still in GIT..that's what i meant..It is still a issue, just as Rytec. I though you were forgotten to mention....

Build is running...But now more broken..pffff..

About pulseaudio..I think that pushing the OE-Core manually to git head causing the problem..It should be harmless.but....

But for now...I think it's better to start over tomorrow..

Thanks  and happy new year.

The patch for gcc 5 has a strange behavior when compiling the first box, for example dm8000, this patch is required when compiling the second box, for example dm800se, this file is already present (probably in the cache) and apply patch is causing the error, I decided otherwise:

Add file compiler-gcc5.h a folder

Added to the SRC_URI:
file: //compiler-gcc5.h

Added to the function do_configure_prepend()
cp -avR $ {WORKDIR} /compiler-gcc5.h $ {S} / include / linux

The solution ugly, but it works without errors!

A question regarding my Dreambox DM800Se receiver.

Could it be that that the soc is unable to play certain kinds of DivX5 or Xvid videos?

I have some recent Xvid video's which play fine on my Zgemma Star receiver.

However my DM800Se doesn't swallow it.

At first I thought it was a fourcc problem, so I tried changing it.

But the latest dvbmediasink from christophecvr includes the bitstream unpacking code from mx3L, so that shouldn't be the issue.

It's like the video decoder of the DM800Se just doesn't support certain Xvid videos since my images are equal for all of my receivers.

It's an original DM800Se btw, no clone.

Btw this is the information regarding one of the Xvid videos:
