Tried to install Backup Suite from the OpenPLi Plugins - Extensions and it will not install and aborts.

Error shown on screen is:

"There is no support (yet) for this kind of receiver. The installation will be aborted."

Plus a few lines of script errors.


I have latest version of OpenPli updated today on an original DM800.

Looking at a IPK of ver 7.2 Backup Suite, it seems it is not for a DM800 but MODELS ET-XX00 & VU+

Pedros backupsuite is only meant for Vu+, ClarkeTech and Xtrend receivers. So indeed it will not work on a Dreambox.

So why is it available in the DM800 OpenPLi plugin feed?

I would hope that all plugins listed in the downloadable plugin menu for a particular model DM would be able to work in that DM.

I agree with you if they are not meant for dm800 y bother to put them in addons????
