I installed the package for ExFat support ..

 

When I insert the USB stick it gets (auto) mounted under /media

 

/dev/sda1            121306112 118963712   2342400  98% /media/128GB

 

Now when I launch the MediaScanner (MS) there is no option to access the stick under that mount point.

 

The MS-Menu shows

'1 Internal Flash /'

'2 Memory /tmp'

 

Both options return 'No displayable files on that medium found ..'

 

I have no HD attached, shouldn't the stick be mounted under /media/hdd?

It does not matter what name it is mounted on (it uses the label of the device by default). It will use whatever is there for recording, there's no advantage to mounting it as "hdd".

Now how do I get the MediaScanner to work with the files on the stick?
