Plugin  Extensions/WebInterface failed to load: No module named 'Plugins.Extensions.WebInterface.plugin'
Plugin probably removed, but not cleanly in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/WebInterface

That is crucial part of the enigma and now something is wrong...It can be what @WanWizard mentioned a build problem. Not sure is it resolved. Otherwise i dont see any other errors...

What should I do now? Clean flash the 9.1 will it solve the issues?

i think so...At least you can try. But not restore any settings since it may break it again...

Can I restore my favorites bouquets list (etc/enigma2 folder) ?

Dont know...First try without and then put the bouquets and see...

Afding a skin on a client (so gets image and sound from another enigma2) is not installable.

I use the gui. In plugins. I have only one skin. Select another. Downloads fine. Cannot find it in settings.
Go back to plugins. Not available for download anymore. (Suggests it is downloaded).

Restart doesn’t make it visible.

This is about the very old DMM web interface, that code should have been removed a decade ago. Not related, every box shows this when it starts.

 

The build issue was related to enigma.info not properly updating, causing a green screen with a SystemInfo crash.

 

There is nothing out of the ordinary in that Enigma output, so from an Enigma point of view, everything is well. I also don't see any issues in the opkg update log.

 

Please give more detail. When you switch the box on, do you see the vendor logo? And after that the OpenPLi logo? En then?

Hi,

I'm still having the enigma.info error screen on reboot after updating via GUI a Pulse 4k mini receiver with the latest update (20241230).

The 9.1 release was flashed with backup with the 20241228 image and then updated.

The file attached is after reboot then I fixed it with telnet commands posted in this thread (no upgrade was missing).

That is unclear for me. Did you update 9.0-release to 9.1-release, or did you flash 9.1-release ?

 

Your log does show a weird installation target, we've seen that before

Upgrading enigma-info (9.1-release-r0.6) to enigma-info (9.1-release) on /media/usb

instead of "on root".

 

Als already mentioned, you can fix it with

opkg update
opkg install enigma-info --force-reinstall

but before you do, could you do

find / -name enigma.info -exec ls -l {} \;

and post the result here?

On receiver was already running the 9.1-release.

I flashed it with the 20241228 image and today I updated it with "software update".

Sorry I already fix it.

Exactly what I was afraid of. opkg has installed it on usb, and that's why Enigma crashes, it can't find it.

Yes, I am pretty sure that this is the cause of the problem some are reporting. I'm also pretty sure all of you also have picons installed in the same location.

Have picons from 20241218 in root/picon and also (suprice) picons from 2021 in media/usb/picon

Enigma picks up that old install, but wil not use it, as it will use the first picon directory found only.
