i have mounted a cifs drive to the dreambox, mounted successful. but when i press help (to record) it says recording unsuccessfull due to inaccessable storage?

i have selected the mount in recording in settings?

also when i choose sqlite and choose the mount to save it to. then press yellow to save, it goes black, 10 seconds later comes up with the choose diseq etc? what am i doing wrong

Recording & sqlite both require a writable (from the DB) mounted filesystem. Recording also requires a writable (from DB) subdirectory on the mount named movie, i.e. something like /media/hdd/movie, etc...

To verify the mount is actually writable from the DB, telnet into the DB and issue a command like:

touch /path/to/mount/somefilename

If it returns no error and creates a file on the mount names "somefilename" it is writable, if not there's probably permissions problems with the share on the PC side...
