malakudi, i need your help.

After reboot, DVB-T tuner isnt recognised anymore. Apperantly i made something wrong.

I created zzz_usbtuner and put this line in: dvb-usb-af9015

Anything else?

After creating the file, run:
update-modules

Then, /etc/modules files is populated with your usb dvb-t module.

If this still doesn't work, you might need to load the driver inside usbtunerhelper (timing issue on modules loading). But first try with "update-modules".

file doesn't have to be called v4l. I use zzz_usbtuner to be sure that it is the last module loaded.

Maybe you have wrong firmware version for af9015 and af9013. These are md5sum from firmware files I am using:

my dvd-usb-af9015.fw has a diferent checksum. From where did you download it?

Well, you have same stick as Taykun345 and it worked for him, so it should work for you too if you do everything as mentioned. Have you installed all mentioned packages? Do you have an up-to-date OpenPLI 2.0 beta version? Are you running OpenPLI 2.0 in flash?

I did exactly what you said before and it does not work to me.
I have 04-01 openpli2.0 build in flash. It seems strange that in /proc/bus/usb/devices in af9015 says that driver= (none). i think that it's the key.

Does your stick work fine with Blackhole image? (1.4.2) Just to be sure that is not some hardware fault/incompatibility.

is your stick detected in menu?
Mine is but i dont have antenna to test the stick LOL! So i am not sure if stick really works. But it is detected!

Hi, my stick works fine in BlackHole. In OpenPli is detected in the menu but i guet the i2c errors on dmesg. I think you could try it without antena since errors appear just when i start usbhelper in dmesg. Can you show us your /proc/bus/usb/devices content, AF9015 section, please?

iam also getting same error. I tried to scan channels using antenna but no luck.

i search abit on internet and discovered that this is common problem on volarhd sticks. Apperantly this stick isnt compatible with drivers we use. Sad :/

do you have any driver on your device of your /proc/bus/usb?

the problem is with i2c i think i should be recompiled with the apropiated parameters.

but it is not available in opkg.

try:
