Since this the backup site is new and still in testing, some errors crept in the mesaage from Rytec.


1. The site to use is http://xmltvepg.isgreat.org
2. I have corrected the rytec.sources.xml (or more correctly - provided mine which I used to test) See attached file. Unzip and place in /etc/epgimport
3. For Crossepg. Find the /usr/crossepg/providers
You will find the config files here. Edit these files (the ones you use) to the example I have given here for the Benelux. (rytec_benelux_xmltv.conf)

You are right. Looks like a hickup in the script.
I have copied the file manually to the site. It should be there now.

Sorry mate but it looks like http://www.xmltvepg....cxmltvnordic.gz doesn't work....

It seems that the webspace we are using now cannot handle files larger than a certain size.
The Nordic file is 4.7 mb and is out largest file.

For today and tomorrow only - I have place the file on:

home.scarlet.be/epgalfasite/rytecxmltvnordic.gz

You can access it from there.

I think you must update your first post ([Additions] rytec.sources.xml update) with this file, so we can edit the xmltv.conf under crossepg

I'm confused !
So many files and addresses are mentioned here!

My EPG import plugin in OpenPLi does not work anymore.
I have not downloaded anything from the web. I just installed the plugin from the online server.
What should I do now?

This morning my hosting provider will do as fast as he can to get the original site working again.
I'll keep you posted here if it works again.

Looks like site problems again, no epg data for UK on both my VU+Duo and DB800.

same here.

No update, i removed epg.dat and started manual update, no events updated.

I did had a vu crash, had to restart the box, after restart epg was completely empty and now it does not update any more (no errors)
What could be wrong here?

Site is working again.

The hosting provider did something wrong with their apache server, this caused the downtime (again) but as I told you, this week the randomized plugin should be working and pushed into the feeds.

Just tried it, 0 events updated

I alredy removed epg.dat and reinstalled the plugin and even updated pli

Still no update on any source selected, also no new epg.dat file is written after deletion.

How can I fix this?
