Hi,everybody. Simple question but can't find an answer:how to update beta image for DM8000 offline.(image downloaded and send it to the box /tmp,than offline update. But it doesn't work.)
Did i anythings wrong? Thanks in advance.

menu - setup - software management - software update
or
menu - setup - software management - software update (offline)
(with offline it stops enigma first you you will not see any progress on the TV until your box reboots)

thanks for quick replay,but for offline update i need new image? The question is: if i have a new image on pc how to update it? (in case no internet connections)

Create a backup with the AutoBackup plugin, and store it on harddisk, CF or USB. Then just flash the new image, and the setting will automatically be restored. You'll have to copy and reinstall plugins manually though. Usually plugin settings are also automatically kept.

thanks,been tried to update image online,shows 0 packages were updated (image from 9th may).But in dm800se update goes fine without any problems,that's why try to update offline.
