lets there are a thousand possibilities for it, but preserve please this all old too. I do not like an hour looking for info between fifty useless data ;)

new ideas? %? oh, well...
for me it's just users who have grown accustomed to these % in gemini and other dm images...
//and I use PLi image from the begining of my linux stb adventure, so don't get this % hype at all ;)
like it was said many times before - added value of this % is 'questionable' (at least), and imho disrupts the readability
('minutes left' option would by more usefull I think)
but of course opinions vary :P
//until these % would be just an option, no big deal...
True sarcasm doesn't need green font...

I must agree.
In addition, it is guidance info only and % and minutes have nothing info potential, because a most events dont start in EPG start-time and finishing f.eg. 5-15minut before EPG stop-time...
Time to time finishing after EPG time. Why % or minutes then ?

I thought, that from analog (progressbar) is better and faster info. May be, I am for some things old :D

Percentages were used when e2 did not yet have support for the progressbar.
As soon as it became possible to show a progressbar in the service list, the percentages got obsolete, and should have been removed.
However, people got used to them apparently.

my 2ct:

I don't see the point of a percentage. It's useless unless you know when the programme started, and then you still have to do your calculations. And for a percentage the current progressbar is better, it gives you a much better view on the status of the programme (quicker for your brain to process).

A duration in minutes is a lot more useful.

I'm planing to make this very easy... progressbar OR percentages and not progresbar AND percentages... (when the progressbar has a font assignt then it becomes % and not a progressbar... without a font assign it is progressbar). This also avoids possible issues with plugins etc....

I suggest >99% from our users do agree as it is now...

I think it is a bit to crasy to make patches that makes everything possible which take a lot of work while probably <1% of the users do really use it....\

There is probably more stuff that needs more priority...

the font assignment or not, will be a option inside pli or it will be "controlled" by the skin?

Regards.

It will be a configuration then of course.... The skin in fact cannot control this...

progressbar - left
progressbar - right
percentages - left
percentages - right
None

And yet, nothing more is not necessary to invent.
Let's give users the possibility to choose than to use.

IMHO
Just go and do it.

Legendary! :)

My online update wasn't working (build of 24 July) and i had to manually replace ServiceList.pyo,UsageConfig.pyo and enigma2 using nfidump.
It works just like it should :)

Only one minor thing. Can i add the % symbol somehow? Right now it diplays the number and it is like displaying channel numbers

My regards!
