Open Web If looks nicer and nicer.

Question for the developers: Is it possible to use "mouse over" on all the channel listings.

It wil then be easer to see wich TV button i have to click.

In the Movie list dotted lines are used when i "mouse over" a film entry with all the info.

and have you seen this:
http://openpli.org/f...ost__p__248612?
as for now it's just my proposal, I don't know if openwebif decision-makers would like it (and apply it) but you can give it a try...

It might be my beta test-image on my box causing problems but using the Movie-Delete API ("/web/moviedelete?sRef=") with OpenWebIf, the image on my box crashes. No problems with original WebIf.

I get this error using my android-app but also using another android-app. If I try to delete a movie directly from OpenWebIf, I get no error-message but the movie is not deleted.

I am using the latest GIT-version.

Anyone else experiencing this?

It is not a matter of us supporting some piece of hardware, it is the manufacturer that has to support OpenPLi.
If the manufacturer wants to do that, they can contact us, and we can explain what kind of support is expected.

Hello.
I do not now if everything is working fine.
Bud i get a error when i will send a message to the box.

The next message i see....

Missing mandatory parameter 'message'

Replace /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/OpenWebif/public/js/openwebif.js with this, and you'll see the messages.

Question for the developers: could you please give me write access to the git repository? I'm developing the timer edit function, and I don't want to bother further nobody9, who has been so kind up to now to checkin all of my patches.

Thanks

Thanks..
Is this fixed in a regular update?

Hi,

On my Xtrend ET-9000 which is connected to a HomeCinema in HDMI with HDMI-CEC enabled, I am not able to control volume from Openwebif.

Even if I select the virtual RCU pressing Vol+ / Vol- button on it doesn't change sound volume.

Of course this works fine with the physical remote control but not from the webif.

P.S.: Same problem occurs with the old webif.

Isn't it so that hdmi-cec change the volume of your tv?
Ifso try to downmix the volume on the box and try again.
When the box is on ac3 sound the volume on the box doesn't do anything.

Hi,

HDMI-CEC is changing the sound volume on the HomeCinema, it is working fine with the remote control of the ET-9000, vol+ / vol- works really fine.
I can also use the TV remote control to change the volume and it is also the Homecinema that change the volume. So HDMI-CEC is really working fine in all case.
AC3/DTS downmix is of course not activated in Openpli since my Homecinema can decode such audio track via HDMI.

It is just from the Webif that it doesn't work, so if the ET-9000 RCU is able to change sound, I guess that it should also be possible from the Webif if the Webif emulates the RCU.
Probably that some rework needs to be done on the Webif when HDMI-CEC plugin is installed and activated, so it would be a nice to have feature if we can also use the webif to control sound when HDMI-CEC is enabled.

Yep, this has not yet been corrected. I guess they are busy with other things. We must remember they do this in their free time.

As a workaround, you can use "web/about" to get current active channel I believe

I don't think this is webif related.
What you probably mean is:

-normal volume control works fine, both with real RC, and with virtual RC in the webif
-HDMI CEC forwarding of vol+/vol- keys works fine with the real RC, but not with the virtual RC from the webif
(-HDMI CEC forwarding of vol+/vol- keys probably also doesn't work when you use an external usb keyboard)

Because otherwise we are all meaning the same.i think :P
