Link of this thread added to https://kodi.wiki/view/Enigma2 so if there's official links for developing enigma2 for PC let me know to add them.
This is using pvr to KODI translation. I've tried the pvr plugin on a PC before but it didn't work. Probably what we need is the simplest patch, which was only used to build the original E2 for PC?
For example, I remember using VDR was not very convenient. Perhaps it's better now.

Great work, on 20.04 ubuntu compile ok, i try whitout dvb card, tru fallback i get list of channels but can make to play channel jet, fallback i try on octagon8008 openvix, axis 4k pure2 & viper twean otv

First, scripts now have different numbers. Please download or update the source.
I checked it myself and don't see any problems. In any case, when you run the script, nothing happens at all. The log should start differently:

I don't know what is the problem. The system may be damaged.

There is an easier way than building media_build, which may have other problems. For example, lirc stops working if the dvb card has its own IR receiver.
We need to rebuild the stb0899_drv.c module?
1.Install and unpack our kernel source.
2.Apply patch from https://patchwork.ke...lsky@gmail.com/
3.In the folder whith this module, we give the command:
make -C /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build M=`pwd`
In this case, copy the headers requested by the compiler from linux-source to /usr/src/linux-headers -...
Compiling fewer modules saves a lot time. Then, we just rewrite the new module in the lib/modules/.../kernel/drivers/media/dvb-frontends folder and reboot.

That would make the switching between channels more faster.
Note: you have to use PLi-FullNightHD skin in order to see it.

Rather, this skin needs to be tweaked a bit since it only uses internal OpenPli scripts. This doesn't affect the speed at all. Maybe I'll find time for this.
